I'm learning that the process of making a good design heavily depends on the context. Creating the personalities for the keys in project 4 made me realize this. Users need their design to work for them in different situations. Users need's vary a lot so having a "good" design is relative to the situation and also the unique user. I have also learned that a good design doesn't exist for every user. Features that are loved by 75% of the user base still have 25% of user's disapproval.
This is so true! It's very important to keep the target audience and user in mind. That's why personas are so important. These personalities really made having a target audience necessary. I wouldn't want my grandmother using our sarcastic, vulgar fridge designed for a college kid!
