The YouTube feature that needs to be dropped is the tab which shows 'what to watch' and 'my subscriptions'. I feel that having just one tab will make it easier for the user to search for the videos that have been recommended by either their subscription or by YouTube. The existence of this tab makes it difficult for the user to surf for videos and makes surfing complicated. In my project, I have spoken about how to add the feature "The Best of YouTube" in the left column along with the tabs that are presented to the users who have signed in to YouTube. By eliminating the option mentioned above, it makes it easier for the user to surf.
