My took away from last class is that a good designer should have certain knowledge about human cognition. Meanwhile, people are somehow trained to adapt the designs through reinforcements(the sound of open a Coke can).

1-Jiawen Wei
Hi everyone, this is Jiawen Wei and I will go by Jiawen. I'm a junior, major in informatics and I come from Shanghai, China. One fun fact about me is that I literally typed "How to drive a car" in YouTube in order to learn driving. My worry about this class is the design part because the design I think is convenience might not apply to others.

Hi Jiawen, nice to meet you! You're exactly correct that human cognition can play a huge role in design. Often, design requires a lot of empathy as you're essentially creating something for someone else. Hope you have a great semester!
